Araghchi informed his Indian counterpart about the latest situation arising out of the attacks and crimes committed against Iran by the US and the Zionist regime. He said that due to these incidents the stability and security of the region and the world has been affected.
Emphasis on the right to self-defense
Iran’s Foreign Minister said that his government, people and armed forces are fully determined to exercise their legitimate right of self-defense against the invaders. Araghchi also stressed the need for international and regional forums and organizations to condemn military aggression against Iran.
Told the role of BRICS is important
Referring to the role and importance of BRICS as a platform for multilateral cooperation, he said that in the present times this organization should play a constructive role in supporting the stability and security of the region and the world.
