Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not move a motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has expressed his displeasure over the postponement of his speech. He accused Congress MPs of besieging PM Modi’s chair and also said that it was he who had advised the Prime Minister not to come to the Lok Sabha. Apart from this, BJP has made big allegations against the opposition.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had made allegations against women MPs

Even on Wednesday evening, amid allegations of postponing the PM’s speech, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had said that this protest was done as per a pre-planned plan. The women MPs were creating a siege situation around the Prime Minister’s seat. The situation was scary. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Ririju brought the situation under control.

He said that when the House resumed at around 5 pm, the Prime Minister’s reply was expected. Then some women MPs of the opposition reached near the seats of the treasury bench. These included Varsha Gaikwad and Jyotimani. They were holding a ban written ‘Do What is Right’. This protest was in support of the suspended leaders.

Dimple Yadav said- We do not want to attack anyone

Now Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has reacted on this. When we talked to Dimple Yadav in this regard, she said, we were expecting that the Prime Minister would come and speak today, but he did not speak. The Leader of the Opposition should be given a chance to present his views. We also wanted to present our views, but the Prime Minister did not come. We hope he comes tomorrow. The Leader of Opposition is not being allowed to speak in the House. The MP is not being allowed to speak.

The SP MP said, ‘Leader of Opposition is not being allowed to speak in the House. Our question is how did the trade deal become final? Which products will be imported in the trade deal? Why was this deal signed at 0% tariff? We do not want to attack anyone. Neither are they going to attack.

What happened in the House is like a black spot: Om Birla

Dimple Yadav’s reaction has come on the statement of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Before the adjournment of the House, he said, ‘What happened in the House was like a black spot. I received concrete information that Congress MPs can do something unexpected by approaching the Prime Minister. If this incident had happened, it would not have been highly condemnable. I urged the PM that he should not come to the House. He agreed with me. MPs also created ruckus in the Lok Sabha Chamber.
