6.5 crore units of iPhone 16 sold
According to Counterpoint Research, Apple has sold 65 million units of iPhone 16 in the 11 months of 2025. Vivo’s Y29 5G is at second place in this list, of which about 4.7 crore units have been sold. This difference is surprising because the price of iPhone 16 is almost three times more than that of Y29 5G. Usually, entry and mid-level phones dominate the list of best-selling phones, but this time the picture has changed. Apple’s iPhone 15 is at third place in this list. Only iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 accounted for 8 percent of the total smartphones sold in India this year.
Specifications of iPhone 16
The iPhone 16, launched in September 2024, has a 6.1-inch OLED display. This iPhone with A18 processor handles multitasking and Apple Intelligence features easily. Along with high performance, this processor is also efficient and compatible with upcoming software updates. It has a dual camera setup of 48MP + 12MP in its rear. It has a 12MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Talking about battery, this iPhone supports 22 hours of video playback on full charging.
