Arjun Tendulkar’s IPL journey started in the year 2021, when he was bought by Mumbai Indians in the auction at his base price. However, he did not get a chance to play even a single match in the first two years. Arjun’s official debut took place in the year 2023 against Kolkata Knight Riders and in his debut season he took only 3 wickets in 4 matches. His first IPL wicket was that of Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Now Arjun will be seen playing for Lucknow in IPL 2026.
Arjun will play the role of all-rounder
Arjun Tendulkar has made his mark in domestic cricket as a left-arm fast bowler and a useful lower-order batsman. While playing for Goa, he equaled his father’s record by scoring a brilliant century (120 runs) in his debut Ranji match. Recently, he has also achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets in first-class cricket, which is a proof of his improving bowling.
