Ask Maps Feature in Google Maps: For some time now, updates have been coming one after the other in Google Maps. Now another great update has come in it. Google has added AI based conversational feature ‘Ask Maps’ to it. This feature can easily answer user’s questions. It has been rolled out for Android and iPhone users in America as well as India. Currently it supports only English and Hindi language support can be added soon.
Travel planning will be easy
According to Google, the latest feature collects real-time information from around the world and shows it to users. This machine gives personalized answers instead of tailored ones, which makes travel planning easier. For this, Google analyzes information about crores of locations and also uses the reviews of users. This personalized recommendation can include places that you have saved or searched for. Soon its desktop version will also be rolled out.
How will Ask Maps feature work?
Google says that the Ask Maps feature can now answer questions which were not possible before. It can be accessed from the button given below the search bar. As soon as you press the button, it will open a chatbot-like sheet, in which you can ask your questions. For example, you can ask Maps if the phone needs charging. Tell me some place where the phone can be charged without standing in line. After this, Google Maps will suggest the best place for this based on your location. Similarly, you can find out about other things around any travel destination and cities.
