After the voting in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry, everyone is now waiting for the voting to be held in West Bengal on 23 and 29 April. At present TMC is in power in West Bengal while BJP is in opposition. This time too the contest in the state is mainly between these two parties. However, Congress and Left parties are also searching for their lost ground. Now it has to be seen that when the results come on May 4, will Mamata Banerjee’s government return and will BJP form the government in West Bengal. However, the war of words is still going on before the voting.
Mamata Banerjee is a threat to Bengal- Radha Mohan Das Agarwal
BJP Rajya Sabha member Radha Mohan Das Agarwal on Sunday claimed the BJP’s strong comeback in the election states. He said, “Elections have been completed in three states and are yet to be held in two. The people of the three states where elections have been completed have strongly supported the ideology of the BJP. The BJP government is going to be formed in both Assam and Puducherry. The public has decided to stand firmly with the BJP. This is a very encouraging result for the BJP.”
On Rahul Gandhi’s statements on BJP and RSS, Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal said, “The first attempt to eliminate Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was made by the Congress party. When the first elections were held in the country, Congress had cast about 77,000 fake votes to defeat Dr. Ambedkar who was contesting from the Bombay Central seat. Rahul Gandhi now has no right to do politics in the name of Dr. Ambedkar.” He said, “Whatever Rahul Gandhi says, let him say it. Today people do not listen to him, do not trust him, do not trust him and do not vote for him. His words have no impact anymore.”
Taking aim at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, MP Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal said, “Mamata Banerjee has become a threat to the dignity and existence of the people of Bengal. Today about 70 percent of the people of Bengal are living in the shadow of fear. They are breathing under the shadow of hooliganism of the Trinamool Congress.” He told, “Recently a video went viral in which an 81-year-old elderly woman was seen offering flowers at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally. After this, TMC workers reached her shop, looted it, vandalized it and said that because she throws flowers at BJP rallies, now there is no place in her shop.”
BJP government will not come in West Bengal: Hussain Dalwai
After PM Modi’s election rally in Siliguri regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections, BJP claimed that it is going to form the government in Bengal on May 4. Congress leader Hussain Dalwai took a jibe at BJP’s claim and said that no matter how hard BJP tries, it will not form a BJP government in Bengal. While talking to IANS in Mumbai, a Congress leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is blaming Trinamool Congress, but the people of Bengal are not going to be affected by this. The allegation is completely wrong. He said that during elections, BJP keeps alleging anything. BJP has to bring its government in Bengal. The right to vote was taken away from the people through SIR. The Election Commission works on their instructions, but still BJP government will not be formed in Bengal.
