‘Assi’ vs ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’: Taapsee overshadows Mrinal-Siddhant pair, both the films collected so much on the second day

Both the films ‘Assi’ and ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ were released on 20th February i.e. yesterday. The stories of both the films are completely different from each other, but still there is a huge conflict going on between the two at the box office. Both the films are giving tough competition to each other. Let us know how much these two films have earned on the second day of their release.

How was the collection on the second day?
Taapsee Pannu starrer film ‘Assi’ is a story based on a rape case, which connects people emotionally. So Mrinal and Siddhant’s film is a love story, which draws the current generation closer to itself. The genre of both the films is very different but seeing the close competition at the box office, it seems that the audience is liking both of them very much.

‘Assi’ collected a net of Rs 1 crore on the first day of its release. So, ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ has collected Rs 1.25 crore in the first day. Which is Rs 25 lakh more than ‘Assi’. So let us know the second day collection of both the films as per the data of Saaknik:

On the second day of the release of this Taapsee Pannu starrer film, the occupancy of the morning show was 5.18 percent, that of the afternoon show was 11.28 percent, while the occupancy of the evening show was 13.97 percent.

Occupancy of ‘Do Deewane Sahar Mein’
On the second day of the release of Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s film, the occupancy of the morning show was 5.21 percent, that of the afternoon show was 10.49 percent, while the occupancy of the evening show was 11.59 percent.

‘Assi’ vs ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’
Both these films are of different genres, hence the audience of both is also different. Talking about theatres, both the films have got almost similar screens i.e. theaters in different cities. In such a situation the competition becomes even stronger. According to the current figures, while ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ had overtaken Taapsee’s film on the first day, on the second day this film seems to be fading in front of ‘Assi’. Now in the coming days, it has to be seen whether the films ‘Assi’ or ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ are able to surpass each other or not.
