Ayesha- Tamannaah Bhatia, not Krystal, was the first choice for ‘Shararaat’ song of ‘Dhurandhar’, then why did Aditya Dhar reject the actress?

Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has been making new records at the box office every day since its release. Now this film is fast moving towards becoming Rs 600 crore. Apart from the success at the box office, ‘Dhurandhar’ is being talked about a lot and is also being talked about a lot on the internet. People are liking the acting and story of the film, but its music has also made a splash.

From Akshaye Khanna’s entry song ‘FA9LA’ to ‘Shararat’, every song is being praised a lot. Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza are seen in the song ‘Shararat’ choreographed by Vijay Ganguly and it is becoming very popular among the audience. Recently, there was a stir on the internet after seeing Nick Jonas dancing on it. But do you know that Tamannaah Bhatia was the first choice for this song?

‘Dhurandhar’ Tamanna was the first choice for ‘Shararat’ song
Choreographer Vijay Ganguly recently revealed this in an interview and said that Aditya Dhar had rejected the idea of taking Tamanna for this song. Explaining the director’s thinking, Vijay said in an interview to Filmygyan, “She was the one in my mind. I had suggested her name, but Aditya was very clear that he did not want a song which people call an item song, which would be away from the story. If the song was to be about only one girl, it would have diverted attention from the story.” He further explained why the song has two performers instead of one, “So there are two girls in it, not one.”

Why was Tamanna rejected for ‘Shararat’ song?
We did not want all the attention to be focused on just one person. If there was a desire, then the talk would have been about her instead of the story.” He further said, “There was a lot going on in the film, and if you look away from the story, the song becomes just a cut-throat song.”

‘Dhurandhar’ box office report

This Ranveer Singh starrer film has now become the second fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office, achieving this feat in just 16 days.
