Bangalore News (Karnataka), A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, where a six-year-old girl was brutally murdered. The incident took place near Whitefield, a posh area of the city, where the girl’s body wrapped in a plastic bag was recovered from a drain.
Both the family of the deceased girl and the suspected neighbor have come from West Bengal and were working as migrant laborers in this area. Initial police investigation has revealed that the murder was committed due to an ongoing personal dispute between the girl’s parents and a neighbor.
Dead body found at night after complaint of kidnapping
A complaint of kidnapping of the girl was lodged at Whitefield Police Station on Monday afternoon. As soon as the complaint was received, several police teams started searching for the girl. The girl’s body was recovered from the drain located on Temple Road, Nallurhalli at around 12 o’clock in the night. After this the body was sent to Vaidehi Hospital for post-mortem.
Personal dispute became the reason for murder!
Initial investigation by the police has revealed a shocking reason behind this crime. According to the police, both the family of the deceased girl and their neighbor had come to Bengaluru from West Bengal and earned their living as migrant laborers in Nallurhalli area.
There was a dispute going on between both the families regarding some issue, which later turned serious. According to the investigation and the evidence found, it has come to light that the girl was murdered due to a personal dispute. Police believe that the accused has targeted this innocent girl out of revenge.
Police investigation suspects murder by strangulation
DCP Saidulu Adavath said that the girl’s neighbor is the main accused in this case. According to the police, a plastic rope was tied around the neck of the body and no marks of external injury were found on the body.
Initial investigation suggests the possibility of murder by strangulation. At present, the police is seriously engaged in the investigation of this case and it is being claimed that the accused will be arrested very soon.
