According to ‘Bangla Tribune’ news portal, the deceased was identified as Dipu Chandra Das (25), who worked in a factory in Mymensingh city.

Chief Imam of All India Imam Organization, Dr. Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi reacted to the death of the Hindu youth. He said, ‘Humanity has been tarnished. This is murder of humanity. The cruelty with which the child was murdered and what was done to him after his death, hanging him from a tree, is completely wrong. These ungrateful Bangladeshis, whom India has always helped, have forgotten that India has stood by them in every way. Where are those human rights organizations?’

Dr. Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi further said that why are human rights organizations not raising their voice? What kind of Islamic teaching is this that they are carrying out such killings? They cannot be followers of Islam. Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah should intervene.”
