According to RevSportz, former General Secretary of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Syed Ashraful Haq has criticized the cricket management of his own country. He said that Bangladesh’s name used to be respected in cricket, but now due to wrong decisions of some people and the government, the image of Bangladesh is getting tarnished in the cricket world.

Syed Ashraful Haq said that the focus of any person in cricket administration should be on honesty and commitment. He said that perhaps due to foolishness, BCB President Aminul Islam got influenced by the words of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. Naqvi influenced Aminul and convinced him to come with him.
Taking aim at Pakistan, Ashraful said that Bangladesh cricket is taking risks due to the wrong decisions of some people and the government.
Even after getting assurance of safety of players in India, Bangladesh was not ready to send its team. In such a situation, ICC took strict action and removed Bangladesh from the World Cup and gave its place to Scotland.
At the same time, when Pakistan started threatening to boycott the match with India, the ICC also reminded it about what could be the ill effects of boycotting. In the end, Pakistan played the match with India and lost it by 61 runs.
