BCCI increased the salary of cricketers, know how much money they will get for playing one day?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased the salaries of players in women’s domestic cricket. Now women cricketers will also get the same salary as men. Not only cricketers but the salaries of women match officials in domestic cricket have also been increased. This decision has come after Team India’s historic victory in the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. India defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the final.

BCCI has increased the salary of women cricketers by two and a half times. Senior women players in the playing eleven will now get Rs 50 thousand per match, whereas earlier they used to get only Rs 20 thousand. BCCI has also been kind to the reserve players. Players who will not be part of the playing eleven will get Rs 25,000 per match. Earlier the players sitting on the bench used to get Rs 10,000. BCCI has tried to ensure that every player gets financial security.

In junior cricket tournaments, players in the playing eleven will get Rs 25,000 for playing one day, while players sitting out will get Rs 12,500. Players will get Rs 12,500 and reserve players will get Rs 6250 for playing in Junior T20 matches. According to Cricbuzz, this decision has been taken in the BCCI meeting held on 22 December. According to the report of Cricbuzz, there has also been discussion regarding increase in the salaries of umpires and match referees.
