BCCI gave rewards worth crores to players
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a record breaking reward of Rs 131 crore for the World Champion Team India. According to the latest reports regarding the distribution of this huge amount, each of the 15 main players of the Indian team is expected to get a prize money of around Rs 6 crore, while the remaining Rs 41 crore will be distributed among the head coach, coaching staff and other support staff on the basis of their contribution and their role. This amount is Rs 6 crore more than the prize of Rs 125 crore received by the winning team under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma in the year 2024.
