Nalini Jaywant was born on 18 February 1926 in Mumbai, which was then known as Bombay. She was from a Marathi family. His father was a customs officer and did not like the world related to films.

She was the cousin of famous actress Shobhana Samarth, who was the mother of actress Tanuja. Tanuja is Kajol’s mother. In this way she was also a part of Kajol’s family.
Debuted with the film ‘Behan’
Nalini entered films at a very young age. In the year 1941, she made her mark as an actress with Mehboob Khan’s film ‘Behan’. She was young at that time, but her confidence in front of the camera was evident. After the death of her second husband Prabhu Dayal, she became completely alone. Nalini Jaywant died on 22 December 2010 at the age of 84. His death came to light three days later.
