Pawan Kalyan starrer film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ is going to be released in theaters on March 19. Only six days are left for the release of this film. This film is also in discussion a lot. Meanwhile, now there are reports that the ticket prices of the film have been suddenly increased. Just six days before the release, this big change can significantly affect the film’s collection and footfall.
Ticket prices increased before release
Actually, Andhra Pradesh has approved the increase in the ticket prices of this film of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar. Whereas Telangana has maintained the existing government ticket prices. This has given rise to this difference in prices between the two states, which has become as much a topic of discussion as the release of the film. This has been confirmed by the Andhra Pradesh government itself.
What will be the price now?
The price of tickets for the special show of this film has been fixed at Rs 500. In single screen cinemas, Rs 100 extra will be charged along with the existing government ticket price. Whereas in multiplexes, Rs 125 extra will be charged along with the existing government ticket price. This approval was given after production house Maitri Movie Makers formally applied for special rates from the state government.
The earlier decision of Telangana High Court has stopped the plans of ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. Because the makers are not sure what will be the reaction of the court if they ask for increase again. Due to which, films can be shown in theaters in Telangana at the existing government prices without increasing the ticket prices.
Pawan Kalyan’s previous film increased problems
Pawan Kalyan’s previous film ‘They Call Him OG’ had got permission to increase ticket prices in Telangana. But later the Telangana High Court canceled this decision. This decision has created an environment of uncertainty over any similar application for ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’.
