Bihar News: Tejashwi Yadav’s announcement, RJD will contest elections with LDF in Kerala

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) working president Tejashwi Yadav has announced to contest the elections with the ruling LDF. Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday (March 15) said his party will contest the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections as part of the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF).

The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar made this announcement after a meeting with the MLAs of the RJD-led grand alliance. It is noteworthy that voting is to be held for five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar on Monday (16 March). In such a situation, a tussle is being seen for the fifth seat of the state.

On this seat, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM and Bahujan Samaj Party are seen in the role of kingmakers. If NDA or Grand Alliance gets the support of both the parties, it will win. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are on Owaisi and BSP MLAs.

What did Tejashwi Yadav say about Kerala elections?

Tejashwi Yadav said that in Kerala our party will contest the assembly elections as a part of LDF. Our party has been present in the Kerala Assembly earlier also. We hope that we will help LDF retain power in the state. The Congress and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) are rivals in Kerala, but are allies as part of the grand alliance in Bihar.
