‘BJP has a washing machine..’ Why did Telangana CM Revanth Reddy start laughing at Akbaruddin Owaisi’s taunt?

The winter session of Telangana Assembly is in the news these days for its heated debates and political sarcasm. Here issues related to the state are being raised loudly by both the parties and the opposition. Even on Tuesday, the atmosphere in the House became very interesting when AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, while recalling the predictions made at the time of division of the state, criticized the BJP and former Chief Minister N. Washing machine taunt on Kiran Kumar Reddy. Apart from this, he raised many issues related to the state. The video of his speech is also going viral on social media. Revanth Reddy was also seen laughing at Akbaruddin’s words.

Akbaruddin Owaisi- Today Telangana is flourishing well

While addressing the House, Akbaruddin Owaisi refreshed the memories of the period of partition of Andhra Pradesh (2014). Referring to the then Chief Minister (N. Kiran Kumar Reddy) without naming him, he said that there was a time when it was predicted that if Telangana became a separate state, there would be neither electricity, nor water nor money for development. Owaisi said, ‘Today see how well Telangana is flourishing after division.’

Regarding N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Akbaruddin said that that leader was earlier in Congress. Now he has joined BJP. Perhaps he had to go, because now BJP has the washing machine.

When he said this, everyone in the house started laughing. Revanth Reddy himself was seen laughing at his words.

Raised many issues in the assembly

Apart from these, Akbaruddin spoke on topics like GST amendment, revival of Musi river and expansion of GHMC. He said that the GST system has affected the economy of Telangana. It is not getting proper funds in the state.
