There was a sensation in Keesra area of Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Telangana in the early hours of Thursday (January 8) when a milk businessman fatally attacked the manager of Dodla Dairy with a sword over a dispute over outstanding money. After this horrific incident that took place at the main intersection, the attacker fled from the spot, while the condition of the manager remains very critical.
According to the information, Srinivas, resident of Maula Ali, manager of Dodla Dairy, had reached near Kisra main intersection in his red Hyundai i20 car (TS 08 EP 7851) on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, milk merchant Kiran reached there and an argument started between the two regarding old outstanding bills. Within no time the dispute escalated so much that Kiran took out the sword hidden with him and attacked Srinivas.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack was so sudden and gruesome that Srinivas did not even get a chance to recover. The people around were horrified to see Srinivas soaked in blood in the middle of the road. Accused Kiran immediately ran away from there after committing the crime. Local people immediately informed the police and seriously injured Srinivas was admitted to Srikara Hospital, where doctors described his condition as very critical.

Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that there was tension between Dodla Dairy and businessman Kiran regarding financial transactions for a long time. Kiran owed a lot of money to the dairy, for which Srinivas was constantly pressurizing him to repay. There was a dispute on the same issue on Thursday morning, which ultimately turned into an attempt to murder.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, Kisara police has registered the case. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized. According to Kisara police, special teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Police officials have assured the victim’s family that the culprit will soon be sent behind bars. This early morning attack at a busy intersection has created an atmosphere of insecurity among local traders and the general public.
