‘Bombing cities, killing civilians’, Mamdani strongly condemned American attacks on Iran, what did Malala Yousafzai say?

New York City Mayor Zoharan Mamdani on Saturday (February 28) strongly condemned the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, calling them an illegal aggressive war. “Today’s military strikes on Iran by the United States and Israel signal a devastating escalation in an illegal aggressive war,” he said in a post on Twitter. “Bombing cities, killing civilians, and opening a new front of war is not what we Americans want.”

What did Zohran Mamdani say?
He further said that Americans do not want another war for regime change. They want relief from the inflation crisis and they want peace. Mamdani said his entire focus is on ensuring the safety of New Yorkers and he is in touch with the city police commissioner and emergency management officials. According to Mamdani, many proactive steps are being taken including increasing coordination between various agencies and increasing patrolling at sensitive places.

He said, “My entire focus is on ensuring that every New Yorker remains safe. I am in touch with our police commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking several proactive steps as a precaution, including increased coordination between various agencies and increased patrolling at sensitive locations.”

Addressing Iranian New Yorkers directly, he said, “I want you to be an integral part of this city. You are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers and community leaders. You will be safe here.”

Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai strongly condemned the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, including the attack on a girls’ primary school in Minab, which resulted in multiple casualties.

According to Al Jazeera, more than 50 people were initially reported dead in the attack on the girls’ primary school, but the death toll has increased to more than 80 as rescue teams continued to search the debris. In the footage obtained from the spot, bags and school books were seen scattered among the debris.
