Rani Mukherjee starrer film ‘Mardaani 3’ was released on 30th January. This is a crime thriller drama film, hence its collection is a bit slow but at the box office it is quite good as per the films of this genre. ‘Mardaani 3’ has done a business of Rs 0.78 crore till 8 pm on the 14th day of its release i.e. 12th February, according to Sacknik. After which the total collection of the film has become Rs 40.58 crore.
Third Thursday collection of ‘Border 2’
This film of Sunny Deol was released on 23 January. It has been almost 21 days since this film was released. By the 21st day of release the collection of the film has slowed down a bit. This film has done a business of Rs 1.03 crore. According to Sacknik, this has taken the total business of the film to around Rs 317.3 crore.
‘Border 2’ vs ‘Mardaani 3’
Both these films are of different genres, hence there is a huge difference in the collections of both of them. But the survival of ‘Mardaani 3’ in front of ‘Border 2’ in this way is quite good in itself. Otherwise, it was very difficult for Rani’s film to survive in the storm of ‘Border 2’.
