Borosil Ltd has informed immediately after the stock market closed on Wednesday that due to restriction in LPG supply, production at its plant in Jaipur, Rajasthan has been affected. The company said that following the reduction in supply by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), the production of its borosilicate glass furnaces has been stopped for the time being, while the opal glass furnaces are running at reduced capacity. According to the company, this situation has arisen due to the disruption in global fuel supply due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
