Till a few months before ‘Dhurandhar’, most of the films were trying to make Rs 100 crore. While some films like ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ were successful, many films could not even touch the figure of Rs 100 crore. Then came Ranveer Singh’s film and the figures of Rs 100 crore, Rs 200 crore, Rs 300 crore and Rs 400 crore also started looking small.
After making Rs 500 crore, the film is now rapidly moving towards becoming Rs 600 crore. Even though ‘Dhurandhar’ has not yet been able to touch the lifetime collection of films like ‘Chhaava’, ‘Jawaan’-‘Pathan’, but now even these figures do not seem safe.
In such a situation, let us talk about those 5 records of ‘Dhurandhar’ which are amazing in themselves and which are going to be very difficult for even big giants to break in the future.
5 records of ‘Dhurandhar’ which are very difficult to break
- ‘Dhurandhar’ could earn Rs 207.25 crore in the first week and could not make the record of highest first week. But the film did wonders when it earned Rs 253.25 crore in the second week. By doing this, this film became the film with the highest second week collection. The film snatched the number 1 crown from ‘Pushpa 2’ in this case. Allu Arjun’s film collected Rs 196.5 crore in the second week.
- The creation of the history of ‘Dhurandhar’ did not end here. The film became the number one film with highest second Friday collection (32.5 crores) and highest third Friday collection of 22.5 crores. The amazing thing is that before this these records were in the names of ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Chhaava’.
- After this, the film also became the film with highest second Saturday collection (53 crores) and highest third Saturday collection (34.25 crores).
- The story did not stop here. The film which missed the highest record in the first week went on to become number one in the remaining weeks. Similarly, this film also became the film with highest second Sunday collection (58 crores) and highest third Sunday collection (38.5 crores).
- The fifth record is that till now no Bollywood film had made the record of making Rs 500 crore in 16 days. Earlier, ‘Jawan’ had taken 18 days to make this record.
About ‘Dhurandhar’
This film has been made by Aditya Dhar and he presented such a glamorized version of Akshay Khanna that it became his most spectacular comeback. Another great film has been added to Ranveer Singh’s career. R Madhavan got a chance to do something different like the film ‘Rocketry’ and people liked the negative shade characters of Arjun Rampal-Sanjay Dutt.
