BSNL New Year Offer: Even before the beginning of the new year, BSNL has given a wonderful surprise to its customers. From December 26, the company has launched a new prepaid plan which comes with a validity of one full year. Apart from this, to make Christmas and New Year celebrations special, BSNL is also offering additional data bonus on many existing recharge plans.

BSNL India has shared the information about this new prepaid plan through its official X (earlier Twitter) account. Priced at Rs 2,799, this plan is for those users who want a cheap and reliable connection for a long period.

This plan has a validity of 365 days. Talking about calling, unlimited voice calls are being given across India which also includes free national roaming. Internet users get 3GB of high-speed data daily, which means plenty of internet throughout the year. Along with this, the benefit of 100 free SMS is also being given every day. If seen on daily basis, this plan costs around Rs 8 per day.
What is the difference between Rs 2,399 and Rs 2,799 plans?
BSNL is already offering a one-year plan of Rs 2,399 which offers unlimited calling and 2GB data per day. Now in the new plan of Rs 2,799, by paying just Rs 400 more, users can get 1GB additional data per day.
This means that you are getting about 365GB more data in the whole year. If we calculate, then for every additional GB one has to spend only about Rs 1.10. In such a situation, the new plan can prove to be more beneficial for those who use the internet a lot.
Special data bonus available on New Year
Along with launching the new plan, BSNL has also introduced New Year and Christmas offers for existing customers. On recharge of the annual plan of Rs 2,399 from December 15 to January 31, 2026, 2.5GB data is being given daily instead of 2GB.
Apart from this, there is also good news for those using short term plans. BSNL is offering 0.5GB additional data per day on its popular Rs 225, Rs 347 and Rs 485 recharge plans so that users can get more internet benefits during holidays.
Jio’s year-long recharge plan
If you are troubled by the hassle of getting recharge done again and again, then you can like Jio’s year-long recharge plan. The country’s largest telecom company Reliance Jio has recently introduced such a prepaid plan, seeing which the happiness of the users has doubled.
This plan with validity of almost a year for Rs 1748 is special for those who want to avoid recharging every month. With this single recharge, your Jio SIM will remain active for 336 days, that is, for about 11 months, you will neither need reminders nor will you need to open the app again and again to search for the plan.
