Main announcements of Finance Minister
The Finance Minister said that the Rare Permanent Magnet Scheme was started in 2025. Moving ahead, mineral rich states will be helped. Dedicated corridor of rare earth minerals will be built in 5 states. Apart from this, the allocation of EMS PLI scheme will be increased from Rs 20 thousand to Rs 40 thousand crore. He informed that India Semiconductor Mission ISM 2.0 will be started to strengthen equipment and material production and supply chain.

According to the announcement of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, there will be an investment of Rs 10 thousand crore in biopharma in 5 years. A corridor for rare minerals will be built in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. Medicines for cancer and diabetes will be cheaper. Establishment of textile park has also been announced. There has also been talk of starting Mahatma Gandhi Handloom Scheme. Weavers will benefit from reforms in the textile industry sector.
