In Bengaluru, former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant and Sandalwood actor Mayur Patel has been accused of drunken driving and serial accidents. Halsuru traffic police has registered a case on charges of drunk driving and causing a road accident. His Fortuner car has been seized.
Halsuru Traffic Police has started investigation into this entire matter. It is being told that actor Mayur Patel’s car hit 4 cars. This incident happened near Commando Hospital Signal on Old Airport Road. The incident happened last night i.e. Wednesday (January 28) at around 10 pm. Mayur hit the vehicles stopped at the signal from behind with his car, due to which four cars were damaged. During this time Mayur Patel himself was driving his Fortuner car.
Mayur Patel’s breath analyzer test
This accident happened due to rash and careless driving. Two Swift Dezires and another government car were damaged in this incident. Actor Mayur has been accused of drunk driving, after which Halsuru traffic police visited the spot and breath analyzer test was conducted on Mayur Patel.
Case registered against Mayur Patel
According to police sources, the investigation report has come out positive. Based on the complaint of the car driver injured in the accident, the traffic police has registered a case against Mayur Patel. After this incident, Mayur’s Fortuner has been seized. Traffic police reached the spot and detained the actor for questioning. Officials said that action will be taken as per the Motor Vehicles Act and other applicable laws.
Mayur Patel gained popularity after appearing in Bigg Boss Kannada and later worked in Kannada films. No official statement has been issued by them yet regarding this incident.
