A 21-year-old girl was seriously injured in an accident that took place during a late night party in Brookfield area of Bengaluru. It is being told that after the police arrived, the frightened girl was trying to get down from the balcony with the help of a drain pipe, during which she lost her balance and fell down.
What did the victim’s father tell in the complaint?
The incident took place on Sunday, December 14, at C Asta Lodge, AECS Layout, Kundalahalli. According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s father Antony, his daughter had gone to the lodge with seven of her friends for a party. The group had booked three rooms and the party was going on from around 1 am till around 5 am.
During this time, nearby local residents complained about the noise and uproar and informed the police on the 112 helpline. After receiving the information, a team from HAL police station reached the spot and reportedly reprimanded the group, saying that their noise was causing trouble to the people nearby.
Police were accused of demanding money, not confirmed
Some allegations have also been made that the police demanded money from the boys, although this claim has not been officially confirmed yet. Immediately after the police left or after the conversation, the girl reportedly got scared and tried to get down from the balcony with the help of a drain pipe to get out of the room. During this time, she lost her balance and fell down, due to which she suffered serious injuries.

After the incident, his friends immediately took him to Mahanandi Hospital, from where after first aid, he was referred to Kaveri Hospital located on Kundalahalli Main Road for better treatment. At present the condition of the girl is said to be serious.
Police registered a case against the lodge owner
On the basis of the complaint, HAL police has registered an FIR against the owner of Sea Estha Lodge. The complaint has accused the lodge management of negligence and said that there were not adequate security arrangements in the balcony area.
The complainant has demanded a detailed investigation into the matter and has requested to interrogate the girl’s friends, lodge staff and the policemen present on the spot, so that the truth of the entire matter can be revealed. Police officials said that further investigation is going on to determine the exact sequence of the incident and responsibility.
