Tamil Nadu Police has arrested 4 minors in this case. One of the four arrested people has been released on bail.

One of them later uploaded the entire incident as a video reel on Instagram. A Tamil song has been given in the background of the Instagram reel. It is learned that the local train was going from Thiruthanni to Chennai. It was there that these four boys attacked the migrant labourer. Later it was revealed that all of them were minors.
In another video, it is seen that the accused boys attacked the injured person near a house with a sharp weapon (something like a chopper). Some people were seen attacking a person with sharp weapons. One of the attackers then did a terrible thing. It is seen in the video that after attacking the migrant labourer, one of the accused presented himself almost ‘bravely’. He showed the ‘V sign’ with his fingers, which is actually the ‘victory sign’, the familiar ‘victory sign’ to all of us.
Treatment of the injured person continues in the hospital.
It has been learned that the injured person is actually a resident of Odisha. He had gone to another state in search of work. It was there that he was attacked. The person was drenched in blood due to the attack with a sharp weapon. Presently he is undergoing treatment at Thiruvallur Government Hospital. According to police sources, the age of 4 people arrested in this incident is 17 years. One has been released on bail citing studies as his reason, while the remaining three accused have been sent to a juvenile home.
Many laborers from West Bengal and Odisha go to other states in search of work. The incidents of attack on them there are also not new. Such incidents have happened before in other states too with laborers from other states. But this time the misdeeds of these four minors have left everything behind.
