Now according to a tipster, Samsung is testing a dual cell silicon carbon battery, whose capacity is 20,000mAh. It is being told that two different sizes of cells have been used in it, which together will give a capacity of 20,000mAh. The tipster claimed that this battery gave a total of 27 hours of screen-on-time and survived 960 charge cycles annually. That means with this battery users will be able to watch videos day and night.
Everything did not go as per expectations
However, during testing, everything was not as per expectations and the battery started swelling. There was no problem in its short-term performance, but more work is still needed regarding long-term stability. Another report says that after the battery swelled during testing, its size had increased significantly, which is a danger sign for use in the smartphone. However, this has not been officially confirmed by Samsung.
