According to IMD, there is a possibility of a decline in the minimum as well as the maximum temperature in Delhi from December 25. The minimum temperature is expected to fall to 7 to 9 degrees Celsius on 24-25 December. There is a possibility of dense fog in the morning.

Cold weather continues in UP. According to the Meteorological Department, there are signs of increase in cold due to drop in temperature in the coming days. An alert has been issued for dense to very dense fog in UP for the next 4 days. Today on Wednesday, a warning has been issued regarding dense fog in 32 districts of the state. There is an alert of dense to very dense fog in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur and Saharanpur districts. A warning of very dense fog has been issued in Bareilly, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and its surrounding areas.
The cold will be a little less in the capital Lucknow today. Along with this, people will also get relief from fog. The minimum temperature in Lucknow will be around 11 and maximum 21 degrees Celsius. However, dense fog is expected to remain in Lucknow again after 2 days. Light fog may also be seen in Noida this morning. As the day progresses, the sky will clear here and there is a possibility of sunshine.
It was coldest in Bihar
If we talk about Bihar adjacent to UP, here too there is severe cold wave and severe cold. According to the Meteorological Department, due to very little difference between day and night temperatures, the cold has increased significantly. There is a cold day situation in 14 districts including Patna, Arwal and Aurangabad and there is no possibility of relief for the next 3-4 days. Sunshine in Uttarakhand
Due to sunshine in Uttarakhand, the temperature of Dehradun and surrounding areas has increased. Fog and severe cold in the plains can increase problems. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in the state for the next 3 days. In the hilly areas the day temperature was 4 to 5 degrees Celsius higher than normal. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 25.9 and the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius.
