Congress has strongly attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Assam. Congress leader Pawan Kheda has posted on social media platform ‘X’ demanding him to go to violence-hit Manipur. After his post the political atmosphere has heated up.
Kheda’s taunt: Don’t forget Manipur
Pawan Kheda wrote in his post that election-bound states become the first priority of the government, but Manipur should not be ignored. He said that Manipur is facing violence since 2023 and the situation is still not completely normal.
He also wrote that the Prime Minister is currently in Assam and Manipur is not far from there. In such a situation, he should go there and meet the people. According to him, the presence of the Prime Minister can give confidence to the people of Manipur.
shared photo of flight ticket
The Congress leader also shared a picture of a flight ticket from Guwahati to Imphal along with his post. He wrote that the ticket has been booked for the convenience of the Prime Minister and he just has to board the plane. He also said that he did not have the Prime Minister’s number, hence he was sharing the ticket on social media. Referring to the ‘PM CARES’ fund of the central government, Khera said that the Prime Minister should go to Manipur and show that he really cares about the state.
Dear PM @narendramodi,
We understand that poll-bound states are always your top priority. But Manipur should not be abandoned. The state has been burning since 2023 – and it is burning again.
You are already in Assam today. Manipur is just an hour away. Please go there as well.. pic.twitter.com/kW2zBJICSS
