Congress has started preparations for the Kerala Assembly elections. On Wednesday (11 March), a meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress was held regarding the Kerala Assembly elections. Congress President Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal, Ambika Soni, TS Dev and other members were present in the Congress office and brainstormed about the elections. According to sources, the first list of Congress candidates may be approved in the meeting.
Many MPs can contest elections
According to sources, it has prepared a strategy to contest elections on about 90 seats out of 140 seats in Kerala, leaving the remaining seats for its alliance partners.
According to sources, out of these, 31 seats in the first list have been approved. Many MPs from Kerala Congress can contest the assembly elections. It is discussed that MP Hibi Hidden, MP K Sudhakaran, MP K Suresh are ready to contest the assembly elections.
Rahul Gandhi increased election activity
Rahul Gandhi has increased his election campaign in Kerala. Recently he has come to the state to participate in many events. He has also announced some social-welfare guarantees for youth and women, so that the environment can be created for a strong campaign after the election dates.
