Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah attended a program organized at the Rajasthan Police Academy in Jaipur on Saturday (January 10, 2026). During this, Amit Shah gave appointment letters with his own hands to 10 out of 9,000 police constables recently selected in Rajasthan Police. On this occasion, the Home Minister praised Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
Amit Shah praised CM Bhajanlal Sharma by taking his name 11 times in his 16-minute address during the program. He said that Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s government has worked to strengthen law and order in the state. There has been a reduction in all types of crimes in the state. Apart from this, the Rajasthan government has also cracked down on paper leaks. CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s repeated praise in Amit Shah’s address has also put an end to the speculations going on in the political circles.
Appointment of 9,000 constables will strengthen law and order: Shah
Addressing the program, the Union Minister said, ‘The appointment of 9000 constables will further strengthen the law and order system of Rajasthan. This is the first major recruitment in Rajasthan Police after the implementation of the Indian Judicial Code. Which will become easier with the implementation of the new law. He said, ‘These youth have been recruited and given jobs in a transparent manner without any expense or recommendation. Without corruption, jobs have been given by respecting the talent.
BJP government’s promise to improve law and order has been fulfilled: Shah
He further said, ‘Our government has fulfilled the promise of improving law and order in Rajasthan. Despite the international border being more than a thousand kilometers long, law and order is much better here. After the formation of Bhajan Lal’s government, the incidents of crime have decreased by 14%. In Rajasthan, the culprits are being punished in more than half the cases. At the same time, the series of paper leaks happening during the Congress rule in the state has ended under the Bhajanlal government. Apart from this, Bhajan Lal Sharma’s government has also done the work of making large scale investments in Rajasthan.
