ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025: Deepesh Devendran of Tamil Nadu is a right arm medium bowler, who is currently a part of Team India in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025. Recently, Deepesh has started playing cricket at the junior level and has impressed with his bowling. In the ongoing Asia Cup in Dubai, Deepesh took 3 wickets for just 16 wickets in 7 overs against Pakistan and the Pakistani batsmen had no match against his tight bowling. Due to which Team India was successful in achieving a big victory. Deepesh bowled brilliantly in the first match of the tournament and was successful in taking 2 wickets for 21 runs against UAE.
What was the result of India-Pakistan match?
In this match, Pakistan won the toss and invited Team India to bat first, in response to which Team India was all out for 240 runs in 46.1 overs. In this innings, Aaron George played an excellent inning of 85 runs for India. Apart from him, captain Ayush Mhatre (38 runs) and Kanishk Chauhan (46 runs) also made useful contributions. After this, while chasing the target of 241 runs, the Pakistani team could not recover from the initial setbacks and were reduced to just 150 runs in 41.2 overs. For Pakistan, Huzaif Ahsan scored 70 runs in 83 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes and apart from opener Usman Khan (16 runs) and captain Farhan Yousaf (23 runs), no other batsman could even reach double digits. At the same time, after batting, Kanishk also performed brilliantly in bowling and took 3 wickets for 33 in 10 overs.
