There was chaos at Terminal-3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) when a suspicious human skeleton was recovered during security check. As soon as this information came to light, there was a stir among the airport security agencies and Delhi Police. The forensic team was immediately called to the spot and a thorough investigation of the entire matter was started.
This matter came to light when regular baggage checking was going on at the airport. During X-ray scanning, a skeleton-like structure was seen in a bag. Security officials suspected that it could be the skeleton of a human being. After this, as per airport security protocol, the bag was separated and interrogation of the concerned passenger was started.
Big revelation made in forensic investigation
When Delhi Police and forensic experts examined the skeleton in detail, a shocking revelation came to light. During investigation, it became clear that this is not a real human skeleton, but a demo skeleton used for medical studies. This skeleton is used for study purpose in medical colleges and training institutes.

During investigation it also came to light that this demo skeleton was prepared by a manufacturing company located in Karol Bagh area of ​​Delhi. The company manufactures equipment and models related to medical education. After examining the relevant documents, the police got confirmation that the skeleton was to be used only for educational purposes.
Police cleared the matter
After completion of the investigation, Delhi Police made it clear that it is a fake human skeleton and no crime is linked to it. All required documents have been verified and no further legal action is required.
