A SpiceJet flight bound for Leh was forced to return to Delhi on Tuesday morning after developing a technical fault mid-journey, according to a PTI report citing officials in the know. The Boeing 737 aircraft, operating as flight SG121, had approximately 150 passengers on board at the time of the incident.
A SpiceJet spokesperson confirmed that the aircraft turned back to the national capital after experiencing a technical issue. “The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally,” the spokesperson said in a statement. The source indicated that the problem was related to the aircraft’s engine.
