People in Iran’s intelligence community have quietly hinted at talks with Washington and Israel. The New York Times made this claim in a report on Wednesday. The report said that some prominent people of Iran have sought indirect contact with American intelligence officials to discuss ending the war. At the same time, Iran has denied the claims of the report.
Tasnim News Agency quoted a source in Iran’s Intelligence Ministry as saying that people in Iran’s Intelligence Ministry have indicated readiness to join talks with the CIA to end the war. This proposal came a day after the war started.
Iran said it was an attack on sovereignty
At present there is no further information in this matter. Neither the White House nor the CIA has said anything on this. The report says that Iranian officials have also not said anything on this issue. Apart from this, the CIA has refused to give any kind of reaction on the claims. Iran has called this attack an attack on the country’s sovereignty. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva refused to negotiate with the US a few days after the attack.
Here even America is not believing in the vision of Iranian intelligence people. President Trump himself has refused any kind of talks on Tuesday. Then Trump said that it was too late for talks. Trump has said that the situation has worsened due to the death of several Iranian officials. America considered him the chief negotiator. Trump has said that most of the people we thought about are dead. Very soon we are not going to know anyone. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died in these attacks. He was holding a meeting to select his successor.
