SBI Life: The company has fixed Friday 6 March 2026 as the record date for dividend payment.
SBI Life Insurance has informed after the stock market closed on Wednesday that the company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.70 per equity share (face value Rs 10) for the financial year 2025-26, which is equal to 27 percent. The company has set the record date for dividend payment as Friday, March 6, 2026. The company said this dividend has been approved by the Board of Directors under the applicable listing rules.
This interim dividend will be given to those shareholders whose names are recorded in the register of members or the records of the depository on the record date. The company said that the dividend amount will be credited or sent to the accounts of the shareholders by March 27, 2026.

SBI Life had earlier also given an interim dividend of Rs 2.70 per share in the financial year 2024-25. The record date that year was set as 12 March 2025 and payment was made by 31 March 2025. Whereas in the financial year 2023-24, SBI Life had declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share. The record date at that time was March 16, 2024 and the payment was made in April 2024.

This announcement of dividend has come after the company’s December quarter results. SBI Life’s profit in the December quarter increased by nearly 5 per cent year-on-year to Rs 577 crore, compared to Rs 551 crore in the same period last year. The company’s net premium income increased by 22 percent to Rs 30,245 crore.
