‘DMK is infamous for its corruption model’, PM Modi attacks Stalin in Tamil Nadu!

Assembly elections are to be held in Tamil Nadu in the next few months. In such a situation, political temperature has started rising in the state. In this connection, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He said that Tiruchi is a land of courage and faith, it has seen the bravery of the Marudhu brothers.

PM Modi also remembered Kargil war hero martyr Major Saravanan. He said that I also remember Major Saravanan, who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil war. When it comes to respecting Tamil Nadu and its culture, our government has always been at the forefront. It is a matter of pride that Tamil Nadu’s son C.P. Radhakrishnan is our Vice President.

The PM said, ‘Whether it is a rally in Tamil Nadu or programs like Kasi Tamil Sangamam, I am very interested in connecting with the Tamil people. I can feel the pulse of the state very clearly. Similarly, in this election season, the desire for change is increasing very rapidly in Tamil Nadu. The entire state has made up its mind to oust DMK from the government. People want a government for every family, not just for one family and they know that only NDA can bring change in Tamil Nadu.

The culture and architecture of Tamil Nadu is loved all over the world.

He said, ‘The culture and architecture of Tamil Nadu is very much liked by people from all over the world. Such people not only come from Chennai, they also come from places like Tiruchi. Many people sent me their good wishes after our government built a new terminal in Tiruchi.

He said that it is modern and at the same time completely included in the culture of Tamil Nadu. Now our government has given international status to Madurai Airport. By doing this we are bringing the world to the doorstep of Madurai. The progress of Tamil Nadu is very important for the NDA government. Since 2014, the Central Government has given approximately Rs 3 lakh crore. This is many times more than the amount sent during the previous Congress-DMK government.

Tamil Nadu’s infrastructure funding has tripled in the last decade compared to the decade before that. The NDA government has spent approximately Rs 57 thousand crore on national highways in the state, which is more than 4 times the amount spent by the Congress-DMK government between 2004-2014.

DMK betrayed the mandate

The people of Tamil Nadu brought DMK to power in 2021, instead of accepting it as a responsibility, they have betrayed the mandate. Under DMK rule, everything starts and ends with a family. Ministers can change, MLAs can change but power remains with only one family. DMK is infamous for its corruption model.

The PM said that they (DMK) have delayed the scheme to build houses for the village poor because they fear that people will give credit for it to the central government. We have big plans for the development of Tamil Nadu. For example, we have made the state part of the rare earth corridor. We have proposed Bengaluru-Chennai and Chennai-Hyderabad bullet train corridors. Such projects will take the state to the next level of development in terms of connectivity and production.
