After Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, today on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) at 7:23 am, there was a massive explosion in Chaklala area of Rawalpindi adjacent to Islamabad. After the blast, the anti-drone gun of the Pakistani Army deployed in Rawalpindi was seen shooting down four drones. However, till now neither Pakistan nor Afghanistan has said anything officially on this blast, but according to the information, the blast which took place at 7.23 am Indian time in Rawalpindi was caused by a drone attack, the sound of which was not only captured in the CCTV of a house located in Chaklala Scheme-3, but a balloon of smoke was also visible.
ISI Chief’s camp office also damaged in the attack
According to new information, the explosion due to drone attack took place at the headquarters of X Corps of Pakistan Army located in Chaklala Cantt of Rawalpindi. In which a camp office of the ISI chief is also located. Retired Pakistani Army officer Major Adil Raja, while sharing the photo, informed that the first drone attack this morning took place on the Pakistani Army base. It is clearly visible in the pictures how a room located in the X Corps headquarters has been damaged due to the drone attack and a car parked in the parking lot has also been damaged.
Pakistan hiding its face from questions about security breach
The people of Chaklala Scheme-3 had also seen early in the morning that the anti-drone gun of Pakistani Army was shooting down four drones present in the sky. According to the information, these four drones were going to attack Noor Khan Base located in Chaklala Cantt of Rawalpindi, which were shot down midway, but to avoid defamation and questions of weak air defense, Pakistan has not yet issued any statement on the drone attack in Rawalpindi.
Afghanistan looking to avenge the death of 400 people in Kabul
