The war in the Middle East has entered its fourth week. Israel- Israel is carrying out rapid attacks on Iran. At the same time, retaliatory action has also been intensified from Tehran’s side. Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it shot down an American F-15E strike fighter near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to IRNA news agency, ‘The Iranian military announced that an enemy F-15 aircraft was intruding on the southern coast of Iran, near the island of Hormuz. The aircraft was intercepted and shot down by surface-to-air missiles fired by the Army Air Defense Force. A video related to this has also been shared by the news agency. However, till now no response has been given by America or its Middle East ally country.

Iran claims to target F-16, F-35, F-15E also
On Saturday (21 March), Iran claimed to have shot down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet. Its footage was also released by Iranian media. Responding to this, Israel said that during the operation the plane was hit by a surface-to-air missile. However, any kind of damage was denied. Earlier, Iran had claimed to have targeted F-35 fighter aircraft in central Iran. However, this could not be confirmed.
Also on March 5, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had claimed that it had shot down an American F-15E strike fighter near the country’s south-western border. Tasnim news agency quoted the IRGC as saying that the two-seater fighter plane was ‘targeted and shot down’. The time of the incident was not mentioned in the report. However, this claim was completely rejected by the American Central Command.
The war reached the fourth week
Today is the 23rd day of the war that started on 28 February. The US President has repeatedly claimed that there is nothing left in this war, Iran’s navy, air defense system and leadership have all been destroyed, but the war is still going on and the US Army has also suffered huge military losses. Many aircraft, drones and fighter jets of America have been damaged.
