There was tension on the set
After Hate Story 3, Zareen was often approached for 2. This was the sequel to the 2006 Aksar film. The film has been directed by Ananth Mahadevan.
Regarding this, Zareen said, ‘He narrated the script in very polished English. We are not making a hate story. We are making a film of crime genre and on lines related to it. So I said OK. But when I reached the set, the second scene was about to end. Suddenly they wanted me to wear a bra or similar clothes for the scene. I said that I have no problem with such scenes, but you gave me a completely different script. Now because you have seen that movie, you want to add all this. I realized that the director had no backbone. He narrated a vision regarding the story to the producers. Second to me and my costume designer. At that time tension had arisen on the set.
