F-35 proved to be junk in front of cheap drone attacks, powerful weapons like Rafale, how did Iran change the rules of war?

Even after losing its Supreme Leader, Iran, which is standing firmly in front of America and Israel, seems ready to do anything to protect its sovereignty in this war. This is because the way Iran and its allies have challenged the attacks by Israel and America, it has surprised defense experts around the world. Iran, which is challenging Israeli and American attacks with its cheap drone swarms and hypersonic missiles, has now become a topic of discussion.

This war taught us how to continue fighting even after devastation

There was a time when stealth jets like F-35 and F-22, expensive missile shields like THAAD and Patriot were considered the most powerful weapons in the war, but this war has decided that the war cannot be won only with the help of these powerful weapons. This war taught us through modern technology how to survive in battle and how to give a befitting reply to big weapons.

In war, 5th generation stealth jets like F-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptor are completing their missions even by entering safe areas, but their safety comes at a huge cost. It has often been seen that these heavy weapons do not always work. They can be identified through new technologies such as sensor networks and electronic warfare. This war taught us not to trust these weapons blindly.

In such a situation, information is being given about those weapons which have shown their mettle in the face of major weapons attacks by America and Israel.

What is the biggest lesson of war for India?

Iran has used Shahed-136 one-way attack drones in this war. This weapon has shown that even the most advanced air defense can be ineffective by attacking in hundreds or thousands. Apart from these, MQ-9 Reaper drones have also proved to be very effective. This is an expensive drone weapon. Its numbers are also less. Under this, Iran has played its role many times in putting Israel and America, including their allies, on the backfoot. Work will have to be done to rapidly increase the production of these weapons in India.

The most important thing in this war is that expensive interceptors like Thaad, Patriot, Iron Dome, David’s Sling spend lakhs of rupees to stop a missile. At the same time, the attacking country can also use cheap drones and missiles. Iran said that with these weapons these expensive systems can be turned into junk.

India has S-400, Akash NG, Prithvi Air Defense and ABD layered systems. But apart from these, India will have to increase focus on laser based direct energy weapons. India’s DRDO’s Surya program is also in the same direction.

What is the lesson from this war for India?
If seen, there is a big gap between Navy and Submarine. US carriers are running big campaigns. India’s Vikramaditya and Vikrant ski-jump have limited capacity. The real concern in this is nuclear attack submarines. America’s Virginia class submarine attacks enemy countries secretly. India does not have its own SSN.

If we talk about this war, Iran showed the world how expensive weapons can be turned into junk. If the strategy of using them is not right. India has missile forces like BrahMos, Rudram, Agni. But now this gap has to be filled.
