Well-known South Indian actor Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th Tamil film ‘Parasakthi’ has been released worldwide on Saturday. As soon as the film was released, tremendous enthusiasm of fans was seen in different cities of Tamil Nadu.
Fans anointed the poster with milk
Sivakarthikeyan’s fans left no stone unturned in showing their love. At some places milk was poured on his poster and at some places he was garlanded and worshiped like a god. There was a crowd of fans outside the theaters since morning. On the day of the film’s release, many fans reached the theater with the band and music. People were seen celebrating the film by dancing, singing and playing drums. People were seen standing in line since early morning to buy tickets.
Fans arrived with puja and cans filled with milk.
Some fans were seen worshiping in front of Sivakarthikeyan’s poster while some people brought cans filled with milk and were seen offering it on the poster. Fans showed their full love for the film on the very first day of its release.

Theater owner said – ‘Shows are going housefull’
Kasi Theater owner Subramanian told IANS that the film has been released on many screens. He said that the film is getting good response from fans since morning and many shows are going housefull. The film ‘Parashakti’ has been directed by Sudha Kongara. Jayam Ravi, Atharva and Sreeleela are also seen in important roles in this film.
Censor Board approved after 25 cuts
The film got approval from the Censor Board on Friday itself, that too after 25 cuts. Some unnecessary, violent scenes and objectionable dialogues have been removed from the film. According to media reports, the famous sentence ‘Thee Parvattam’ i.e. ‘Let the fire spread’ associated with the famous leader CN Annadurai has also been removed from the film. This film is based on the 1965 anti-Hindi movement in Tamil Nadu. For this reason, there was already a lot of discussion about the film.
Mixed reactions on social media
Reactions have started coming in on social media regarding the film. People say that the first part of the film is a bit long and slow because the background of the movement has been shown more in it. Whereas the second part is more fast and effective in which there is no feeling of boredom.
