In the holy month of Ramzan, a heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Golconda Police Station area of Hyderabad, which has shocked the entire city. After a family dispute over Eid clothes, a woman killed her own 14-month-old innocent daughter by pressing her with a pillow. This incident took place in Rasala Bazar area.

According to the police, Aamir Ali, resident of Rasala Bazar, had a love marriage with local girl Ghotiya in the year 2023. The couple had a 14-month-old daughter named Amme Aiman. It is said that there was a heated argument between the husband and wife regarding the purchase of Eid clothes. After this altercation, the woman in a fit of rage allegedly killed her innocent daughter by strangulating her with a pillow.
When the girl’s condition deteriorated, the family members immediately took her to the nearest private hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. After this the body was sent to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. After the post mortem report confirmed the case, the police took immediate action and took the girl’s mother into custody.
Police engaged in investigation
Golconda Inspector P. Saidulu, while talking to the media, said, “As soon as we received the information, our team reached the spot. Based on the preliminary investigation and post-mortem report, it is clear that the death of the girl was not natural. The accused woman is being taken into custody and interrogated. A case has been registered and investigation is going on.”
This incident once again raises serious questions related to domestic tension and mental health. An innocent girl, who had not even learned to speak, became the victim of a minor dispute at home. Police have assured that strictest legal action will be taken against the culprits and justice will be provided to the victim.
