First meeting of Union Cabinet at Seva Teerth, PM Modi’s reaction, know what was said?

The first meeting of the Union Cabinet was held in the new Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) complex ‘Seva Tirtha’. The government described this meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an important step towards the creation of a new India. After the meeting, PM Modi called it the beginning of a new resolve to serve the nation.

Spirit of service and determination to build the nation
According to the release issued by the government, the Cabinet resolved that every decision taken in Seva Teerth will be inspired by the spirit of service to 140 crore countrymen and will be linked to the broader goal of nation building. It was also said that the work culture here will be in accordance with the basic spirit of the Constitution.

PM Modi’s message
Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform He said that Seva Teerth, built on the basis of indigenous thinking, modern form and capacity of 140 crore countrymen, will take forward the duty of serving the nation. The PM also shared the mantra – “Yad Bhadram Tann Aa Suva”, which means whatever auspicious and welfare thoughts we have, may we continue to receive them.

Emphasis on constitutional values
The resolution was also reiterated in the meeting that governance will be linked to the dignity, equality and justice of the citizens. The government said that every policy made in Seva Teerth will be accountable to the aspirations of the countrymen.

Journey from South Block to Seva Tirtha
The release said that for decades after independence, the Prime Minister’s Office continued to operate from South Block, where various governments handled the country’s heritage and made plans for the future. Seva Teerth has been described as a modern form of the same thinking, which is a combination of indigenous ideas and modern structures.
