The release said, “We sincerely apologize for the disturbance that occurred at the AI ​​Summit. One of our representatives posted in the pavilion was not aware of the correct information. He was not aware of the technical origin of the product. He did not have the right to talk to the press but in the excitement of being on camera, he gave wrong information. Understanding the sentiments of the organizers, we have vacated the premises.”

In a video, Professor Neha Singh presented it with the name ‘Orion’ and described it as the product of the University’s Center of Excellence, but the matter became controversial when on social media it was said to be similar to the Go2 model of Chinese company Unitree. It is commercially available, priced around Rs 2.5 lakh. It was accused of calling it a foreign product in the ‘Make in India’ themed summit. Rahul Gandhi had also targeted this issue by posting on Twitter and termed it as ‘propaganda’.
