Galaxy S26 Ultra vs Galaxy S25 Ultra: Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series was launched last night. Its flagship device Galaxy S26 Ultra is being discussed a lot. Galaxy S26 Ultra vs Galaxy S25 Ultra
Display and design- Both the flagship models have a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which supports 1-120Hz refresh rate. However, the privacy display of the new model is a big upgrade, which is not found in phones launched last year. Talking about the design, S26 Ultra has been refined a bit. It is 0.3mm thinner and 4 grams lighter than the S25 Ultra and its corners have been made slightly rounded.
Performance- Samsung had provided Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in S25 Ultra. In its successor, the company has gone one step ahead and given Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is faster and efficient than before. The new model has 19 percent better CPU performance and 24 percent better GPU compared to S25 Ultra. To prevent the phone from overheating, Samsung has provided a completely new vapor chamber in the new model.
camera- The rear of S26 Ultra has the S25 Ultra’s 200MP primary lens, 50MP ultrawide, 50 MP + 10 MP telephoto lens. On paper, the camera setup of both the phones looks the same, but the aperture in S26 Ultra has been widened, which will result in better photos even in low light. Similarly, nightography video has also been upgraded.
Battery- Both these Samsung phones have 5,000mAh batteries, but there has been a change in the charging speed of the new model. The S26 Ultra supports 60W charging speed compared to 45W charging of the previous model. This phone will be charged 75 percent in 30 minutes. Similarly, wireless charging has also been improved.
How much do both cost?
S26 Ultra has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1,39,999, while Galaxy S25 Ultra was launched at a starting price of Rs 1,29,999. Currently, it is listed on many platforms including Amazon with a discount of around Rs 20,000-25,000.
