What did PM say by mentioning Nehru-Indira?

PM Modi said, ‘I want to tell you one thing, before I was born, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had imagined of building a dam on the Narmada river. The matter is settled, Sardar Saheb is no more. Nehru laid the foundation stone, but I inaugurated it when I became the Prime Minister… This is their (Congress) condition.

The Prime Minister said, ‘Indira Gandhi’s father (Jawaharlal Nehru) was the father of the Planning Commission which she was tearing apart. Till 2014, everyone was looking at the Planning Commission, but no one was talking about improving it. The way Congress had made the Planning Commission a functioning system of stalling, delaying and diverting, when we got the opportunity in 2014, we came and worked and abolished the Planning Commission and created NITI Aayog.

Opposition abuses daily: PM Modi

He said, ‘On one hand I am trying to prepare new paths for the youth of the country. At the same time, Congress is organizing a program to dig the grave of PM Modi. Is this not an insult to the Constitution? Is this not an insult to humanity? Is this not an insult to the dignity of public life? But he has no regrets about it.

‘Why do you want to dig the PM’s grave?’

He said that since he came to power in 2014, there has not been a single session of Parliament when Modi was not abused. The PM said, ‘If someone had asked me about the secret of my health, he would have replied that I eat two kilos of abuse every day.’ Prime Minister Modi asked, ‘Why do you want to dig Modi’s grave? This is not just a slogan. This is a reflection of the hatred hidden within them.

He said, ‘We respond to Pakistani terrorists by entering their homes, that is why they are talking about digging Modi’s grave. We launched Operation Sindoor. This troubles them and that is why they are thinking of digging Modi’s grave. We are taking bold steps to free the country from Maoist terror, is that why you want to dig Modi’s grave?

The Prime Minister said, ‘Congress’s problem is something else. They are not able to digest how Modi reached here. His problem is increasing that when he has reached this position, why is he still holding on? That’s why it seems they have no option left other than digging Modi’s grave. He said, ‘The country gave opportunities to the royal family of Congress for decades, but they only raised slogans of poverty alleviation and did nothing.

140 crore citizens are my remote control: PM Modi

The Prime Minister said, ‘His government brought 25 crore poor families out of poverty, provided electricity to 18,000 villages where there was never electricity. Is that why they want to dig Modi’s grave? His (Congress) government was run by remote. My government also runs through remote control. 140 crore citizens are my remote control. Dreams of 140 crore countrymen, aspirations of 140 crore countrymen. We live for the resolve of the youth of the country. Government is for them. Power is not the path to happiness for us. Power is a means of service for us.
