For some time now, mobiles and other devices have been becoming expensive due to the rising prices of memory chips and other components, but Apple can provide relief to its customers in this matter. It is being speculated that the prices of the company’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will not increase and they can be launched at the same prices as the existing iPhone 17 Pro models. The starting prices of iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max in India start from Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,49,900 respectively. In such a situation, it is expected that 18 Pro models can also be launched around this price.
What is Apple doing to keep prices low?
It is not going to be easy for Apple not to change the prices of new models. To manage the high cost of RAM and other components, Apple is engaged in negotiations with its suppliers, including Samsung, to get better memory chip deals. Due to reduction in the cost of components at the supply level itself, there will be less pressure on the company. Apart from this, Apple is also trying to reduce the cost of laying components like display and camera. Actually, Apple wants to avoid increasing prices at all costs. By doing this it will be in a better position in terms of sales compared to other competitors.
When will 18 Pro models be launched?
Like every time, Apple will launch new iPhone 18 Pro models in September this year too. This time, the company’s first foldable iPhone is also expected to be launched along with the Pro models. In many reports, the launch of iPhone Air 2 is also being said in September. Talking about 18 Pro models, it is expected to get a new front design, upgraded chipset and major updates in camera setup. In 18 Pro Max, the company can provide a camera with variable aperture for the first time and its biggest battery till date.
