Google is used for everything including search, email, video, maps and documents. Its biggest advantage is that there is no need to create separate accounts for all these tasks, but it also has the disadvantage that Google comes to know about all your activities. Google has information about which places you visit, which videos you watch and who you talk to through mail, which is not a good sign from the privacy point of view. Today we are going to tell you some such settings, through which you can take control of the data in your hands.

If you want privacy then turn off these settings

Stop web and app activity- This setting of Google account collects the most data. It has all the information about what you searched, which apps you used, which websites you visited and which videos you watched on YouTube. To turn it off, go to Google My Activity page, select Web & App Activity and turn it off. Here you can choose the option of turn off and delete, due to which the entire data stored here will be deleted.

Disable Timeline and Location History- If you use Google Maps a lot then you must have heard about this feature. It uses your phone’s location service to record where you go. To change this setting, you can turn off the Timeline feature by going to Google My Activity page.

Remove third-party connections- If you also select the Sign in with Google option for every third-party app and service, then this setting must be reviewed. In fact, every time you sign in, you give permission to the services to use some of your data. To turn it off, go to the My Google Account page or select Third-party connections. Here you will see all those accounts where you have signed in with your Google account. From here you can remove unwanted connections.
